Issue Position

​Haslam has said that he is not for Obamacare. Yet in his Tennessee Plan for healthcare, he says that he will leverage the federal dollars via Obamacare to buy private insurance for Tennesseans. Therefore by accepting federal monies, he is supporting Obamacare. As your Governor, I will not accept Obamacare money and will return it to the federal government. Your decision on healthcare is your right as a U.S. citizen and you should not have to pay a penalty if you choose to have no healthcare.
